Indian Air Force AFCAT 01/2026 Recruitment – Apply Online for 340 Officer Posts

  1. Flying Branch
    • Graduation with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level OR
    • BE/B.Tech degree.
  2. Ground Duty (Technical)
    • BE/B.Tech in relevant Engineering/Technology disciplines.
  3. Ground Duty (Non-Technical)
    • Graduate/Post Graduate in respective fields such as Administration, Logistics, Accounts, Education, etc.

Salary and Training Stipend

  • Flying Officer (After Commissioning): Level 10 Pay Matrix: Rs. 56,100 – 1,77,500
  • Military Service Pay (MSP): Rs. 15,500 per month
  • Flight Cadet Stipend during Training: Rs. 56,100 per month
  • Additional allowances include Flying Pay, Technical Pay, Hardship Allowance, etc., based on posting and branch.

Selection Process

Stage I
  • Officer Intelligence Rating Test
  • Picture Perception & Discussion Test

Stage II
  • Psychological Test
  • Group Tests
  • Personal Interview (Over multiple days)
For Flying Branch
  • CPSS (Computerized Pilot Selection System) test
    • Only once in a lifetime
    • Candidates who previously failed CPSS/PABT are not eligible.
Final Merit List
  • Prepared based on AFCAT written exam + AFSB Interview performance.
